AFTER DAY 3
THE MAYOR $30+$130=$160
ME $7+$26.22=$33.22
Here's just some of the displays and trophies at the Kentville Indoor Soccer Facility. You can join me and the Mayor there 10-11 until Friday.
Look at how many people are there, and every 20 minutes or so some leave and others come in. About 200 people use the Indoor Soccer Facility on any given weekday between 10-11.
I had to take this picture of my sign so you could see in fine detail my macaroni work. My grade 3 art teacher said it best when she wrote on my report card, "Jerry's macaroni creations bring a tear to my eye." I thought that was good, my mom told me it was too, but now looking at this...I think she was crying for me.
This is a portable defibrillator, and it's at the Kentville Indoor Soccer Facility.
I took this pic when I first got there and there were about 50 people there. This is a usual crowd for a Tuesday or Thursday when you have to pay $2 to use the track.
This is Dwight, and he runs the Kentville Indoor Soccer Facility. He has been nice enough to put up with me and the Mayor's "shenanigans" this week. He also gave up the money for Tuesday ad Thursday for the Heart and Stroke. He is very pleased to say his crew raised $10,900 for Haiti relief in an all night soccer game.
Tomorrow it's everything including a Kitchen sink I think! There's a Johnny Cash Tribute band playing at the Rodeo Lounge in Dartmouth on Johnny Cash's Birthday and I am going to be giving away tickets at random all morning long, I'll have the Subway Brain Teaser after 7:15 and the Swimwear Hut's Triple Threat Trivia after 8:15, and my funny Buddy Jimmy the Janitor will hit the mic around 8:20. I'll have another chat with Crystal Taylor who lives in Waterville and needs a double Lung transplant. I'll be hosting a fund raiser with the Berwick Lions Saturday 4 until the last person is fed at their hall. The Mayor will be on, Blake Finley will keep you updated on how the valley boxers are doing at the Nationals in Halifax all that and a cardiologist to talk about Heart and Stroke, Dr. Adam Clarke from Valley Regional. I'm off to another radio station on the shore to see how they run the radio BINGO so when I hit the air on Monday with our Lion's Radio BINGO I won't get caught off guard.
