Every year Acadia honors the business involved in the March of Champions on AVR. Here they are lined up on the red carpet with the Wolfville Legion Color Party.

Here's a story. Nathan Welton is #72 and the pink jersey that the lady beside him is wearing is his. The Axemen put these on for warm up then auctioned them off between periods to raise money for breast cancer. The lady standing beside him just came out of surgery for breast cancer last week and was very proud to be wearing Nathan's jersey. That lady standing beside him is his aunt.

I went to the Snack Shack on Exhibition Street in Kentville and did an auction of an AVR prize pack right in the restaurant. The owners are so good to the community I knew they would help out. This has 2 t-shirts, 2 shopping bags, Rascal Flatts, Reba and Darrius Rucker cd's and some stickers and stuff. He got it for $30! Stop in and get the club sandwich, the best for the price in the valley!

You and I will find out tomorrow!
The world lost a great Canadian today, Leslie Nelson. Here's a guy who was serious about comedy.
