THE NEW CRUISER DRIVER, A NICE GIRL, AND A FURNITURE SALE.

Fist off I think we will be getting the official AVR belt for our new cruiser driver Charles Huntley. I was going outside to get a breath of fresh air, and this is what I saw...

...real attractive Charles!
A MUCH NICER PERSON THAN CHARLES

I am lucky enough to be called on by 4H to be a mentor, and through the Real Skills Program I have had 2 job shadowing experiences. This is Laura Kennie and she wanted to learn about radio so bad that she showed up at 4:30 in the morning to help me get my show together. That's the kind of dedication you don't see in youth anymore...oh my...I sound like my father! Here is some of the stuff she did on the air with me today, she was great.

UNDER THE B, 16...

Here's a picture that's bound to confuse you if you play Valley Lions Radio BINGO Monday nights at 7. If you can hear the BINGO balls bouncing on the air, why would I need a video monitor to see the ball being called? Here's the deal, the BINGO machine is too loud in the studio, so it is just outside that big window. Now my eye sight isn't what it used to be, and I couldn't see the BINGO balls from my announcing position, so we rigged up a camera for me to see easier. Oh yeah, how do you hear the balls? Ancient radio secret!

Waiting for the phone to ring.

The guy in the middle, he made me laugh all night. This crew from Wolfville was fast!

The finding out what you have to do class to make the BINGO work smooth.

Counting the balls before the game.

FURNITURE SALE IN WINDSOR

Surprise! No one bought the Toronto chair the entire time I have been here!

Tom the sales guy might have something to do with that though. You think?

Cruiser coming through look out.

The van outside the furniture sale in Windsor.

A great show tomorrow with Relay for Life fundraisers starting up, and a young mentoring program through the town of Kentville with Lindsay Young. Lawrencetown wants to give thanks and they'll do that at 7:40 plus 3 ways to win all this week!
