If you heard him on the AVR Morning show at 8:40 then you know he was good! His name is Caleb Myles and he brought the funk to the morning show this morning! Caleb is one of the performers at the Kentville for Haiti show coming up Friday night at the Kentville fire hall. Susan Eueffing is scheduled to be on the show tomorrow at 8:40 weather permitting to do a traditional Nova Scotian tune!
I have to admit I get to do some really cool things, and my buddy Dale Leckie, who is leaving the Annapolis Valley to move up within the EastLink company in Sackville, asked me if I wanted to do something cool before he goes. One of the coolest things I have ever done was fly the simulator at 14 Wing Greenwood. I called Capt. Scott Spurr the Media relations guy, and he took care of everything...he even bought me lunch! These are the behind the scenes shots in the making of an EastLink Magazine segment.
This is Dale Leckie. Nice guy shooting me in HD in the Simulator at 14 Wing.
Lt. Col Walker, the guy in charge of 405 Sqn, showing me how to fly the simulator.

This is the simulator from the outside. The guy in blue is Leckie, the other guy is Michel, and he is one super smart computer guy!
Michel is watching Amanda Godine and Leckie unpack and get ready to shoot.
The 2 simulators side by each in a massive hanger.
Dale Leckie, Capt. Scott Spurr, Michel, Lt. Col Walker, our special photo tech, and Amanda Godine. This is us just arriving at the shoot after lunch!
Who says you can't land a big plane with one hand while shooting a video? This is proof that I need help! It's a good thing I had help on the other controls!
Enjoy, and check out the show tomorrow, it might be a snow day!
