I GOTTA TAKE A BREATH SOMEWHERE! WHAT A WEEKEND!

What a busy weekend! It started out on Friday with a Valentine's special, and the Dukes of Kent were on our sister station Magic 94.9 FM. Also got some Valentine's Day goodies from the Ladies next door.

This was a great cake, I even tried to get some icing before everyone else!

Here's the gang at the front desk, Patricia who makes all the goodies is the one in the blue jacket!

Here's the Dukes of Kent in the Magic 94.9 studio.

Here's the guy who won tickets to Acadia's hockey game at 6:30 am! I still can't believe that people are out that early, but he was at the game!

Here's the lady who keeps everyone organized at the Hawboldt's furniture sale going on in Windsor!

People ask me all the time on the prices at the Hawboldt's Sale, and here you go, this is the price of a leather couch and chair. It would normally be around $5000!

The Magic 94.9 van outside the store.

Here's Tony and Bernie, the 2 big guns behind the Hawboldt's Liquidation

After the Hawboldt's experience, I got into the van and raced to Acadia to host the hockey game promotions. Just so you know, when you hear the AVR March of Champions play by play with Len Hawley, there has to be someone at the studio too. This is Erin, and she helps out with the show.

Here is Ashton Mitton and his buddy from hockey! They were at the game checking out the action!

Here are some action shots I took while I was with John Decoste from the Advertiser.

Saturday the women's b-ball team played before Acadia Celebrates it Student Athletes of African Decent. They beat X.

This is Dwight Lucas. Not only a Student Athlete from Acadia, he played hockey for the Cole Harbour Colts when I was in High School there.
One of the basketball players singing the black national anthem.

African drummers bring in the VIP's

The Keynote speaker was my gym teacher at Graham Creighton Jr. High, Mr. Robbie Upshaw. If you have ever had one of those teachers that really changed your life you should tell them when you get out of school. I did that with Robbie!

Getting ready to show the banner of all the Student Athletes of African decent who have been at Acadia.

Some of the trail blazers at Acadia. When Robbie got his degrees, he would have been 1 out of less than 100 to get a degree at the time!

Here are the free posters from Windsor Home Hardware for Saturday night's game against UdM.

Eric C handing out shirts to the staff.

This is Amanda Godine, she will be producing my TV shoot on Tuesday at 14 wing Greenwood. She's doing camera for Eastlink TV at the game Saturday.

I know this is out of focus, but so much going on at Acadia that there's 3 buses and the Eastlink Production truck.

Sunday was the fund raiser for the Central Kings food bank. We raised just over $1000.

Here's the ladies fashion show. The video was taken by Kirk Longmire's daughter.

I won best in show!

Oh my goodness, that's John Decoste, not in the dress!
