A GREAT DAY AT SKI MARTOCK

My day started with a call to Ski Martock's Operations Manager Andy Mclean, and he said Ski Martock wasn't just open, there were all kinds of competitions going on too! There was a half pipe thing, a slalom thing, ski racers, snow board cross, it was insane. The snow was really good too, especially since it rained so much, but that just goes to show the improvements in snow making they put in for the Canada Games are paying off. Andy was an awsome host as per usual, and the staff are starting to get to know me, so it's just like going to Cheers in Boston. I hope you get a chance to get in on their March Break Specials coming up.

Here's where the magic happens, here where I write the show and where I started the day off checking the weather!

A great way to end the day with a Beaver Tail.

This is the new Pecan Pie Beaver Tail, and Jen loved it!

This was the racing course at the top of the hill.

This is one of the Snow Boarders that are sponsored by my buddy Evan Banks store Limitless skate and snow.

This was a great day for 1 on 1 instruction. We brought some of our younger family with us to learn to snow board.

This is Glen, and I first met him at the Bash For Cash in Coldbrook. He has seen me at the hill almost everytime I have been there, and he saw that I was teaching Jen how to ski, and he took her for a couple of runs from the top. He says that couples teaching each others to ski leads to a bad car ride home. Has he been traveling in my car? That's the kind of staff they have out there, it's like everyone goes that extra mile to make sure you have a good time. They are all friendly and no matter how badly you are skiing, they tell you how good you are doing and I like that!

Here's Levi going up the tow rope learning to snow board. I can't snowboard, I tried it once, and had to get the skis back on.

Getting more discover snow boarding one on one lessons. Normally these are a group session, but today it was like a private lesson for 2 good buddies.

Me in the Ski Lodge enjoying a break in the action.

This is the Snow Board Half Pipe competition going on.

Another great show tomorrow including the Mayor of Kentville with the totals of the Heart and Stroke Fund Raiser, and Dave from Lady Antebellum will be on the show. Fun for the whole family, starting at 5:30!
