CHRISTMAS FUND RAISER AT DOOLY'S NEW MINAS

I love helping out community groups, especially when the project affects as many people as the Kinsmen/Kinette Christmas Miracle. The actual radiothon will be on Sunday afternoon on AVR, I'll be hosting, and there will be all kinds of local entertainment, jokes fun and a chance for you to give back to your community. Friday night there was the 2nd annual Jinglebell Rock put on by our sister station Magic 94.9, and they asked me to MC the event and the answer was a quick yes. Last year I was the MC, auctioneer, and karaoke guy, this year my good buddy who I have know for almost 30 years and was the first person to hire me as a DJ, DJ Billy T was on hand with the music, and the Kenny Ryan and the boys from the Good Feelin' band were there to get the party going on! We raised a big chunk of cash on the night and thank you for helping out! Special thanks to everyone who helped organize this event and made it a success again this year!

Lots of people helped out with the ticket auction, and that means that more children can have a Christmas they wouldn't normally have.

I hope to see you in New Minas tonight for the Santa Parade at 6! Remember that commercial street will be shut down for the better part of an hour for it.
