VALLEY LIONS RADIO BINGO WITH A FULL TO THE BRIM COOKIE JAR

Monday night is BINGO night on AVR for the Valley Lions Clubs. Things are really going well with a cookie jar that will be holding at $15,000 and another one in reserve behind it. I'll try to tell you about it at the end of the BLOG, but for exact details, you need to go to the Lion's site, there's a link on the right side of this page.

You can't really make them out, but Kirk and Jerry are behind the glass, the bald spot belongs to Reg House, and that nice lady is the treat lady...that's all you need to know about her...now step back from the chocolate fudge! Mmm, fudge...

Every week a new gang of Lions from different areas come up to answer phones and take the BINGO calls. These guys are from Windsor and District Lions. You may be noticing a change in the studio, AVR is doing a renovation of the studio, so look out for our fancy new digs!

I will explain to you the cookie jar in layman's terms, and if you don't understand it, then you need to visit http://www.vlrb.ca/ and look up the rules. I would dare to say they will sell over 496 BINGO books next week and that would bring the cookie jar to $15,000. At such time the Valley Lions have to by rule stop the cookie jar, and also by gaming regulations they can hold it up to 12 weeks while there is another cookie jar building behind it. If the cookie jar doesn't go in 12 weeks, then I will try to explain it then, otherwise go to http://www.vlrb.ca/ and find rules. Trust me it is fair and totally above board.
