READING TO GRADES 2-3 IN SOMMERSET

I was invited to read a book to a class at Sommerset school, and I chose Where the Wild Things Are. Now I know you are thinking it was a short read, but it was my favorite book when I was that age. It was scary, but I could still sleep.

These guys listened intently and we interacted to make it more fun.

This lady just came running up to me a was screaming my name so I took a pic with her and told her it was going to be on my blog. No she's not really a stalker, she's one of the great teachers that I met at Sommerset Elementary.

This is Beth Lamb-Hamilton who invited me to read to the class. When I told her that I would do it, she said the kids would want autographs. I laughed, but she said they were serious. I dedided that I would do something special for the class, I mean if they were going to ask me for an autograph I should at least have something to sign...

...so I found the silliest pic of myself I could find and put this together. This is from the Annapolis County Exhibition in Lawrencetown just before I did this...
