There are several things me and country singer Garth Brooks have in common, and one of them is the rock band Kiss. I have grown up on their music, from 1976 (I was 7 years old), until the 2nd time I saw them live in Halifax last summer. I love these guys, mostly because of their desire and belief in what they were doing and to always stick to it. These guys are really rock Gods. They were wearing make-up on stage long before anyone else, and if you think back to 1976, what these guys were doing was shocking! Garth loves these guys too, and actually recorded a song on the Kiss This tribute CD to Kiss. Here's a commercial of the band to show they have a hard image, but a good sense of humor. This aired for the Super Bowl which was won by the Saints, and it's high time New Orleans got some good news!
Mark this on your calender, I will be at the Swimwear Hut New Minas on Thursday, Friday I will be at the AVR Kentville Studios for an information sesion on Brigadoon Village with their Executive Director, then to Windsor to help you with great furniture deals as the Bankruptcy sale continues and finally helping out the Acadia Axemen as they continue to get ready for play-off hockey. Saturday it's more Axemen hockey, then Saturday Night Classics until midnight. Sunday I will be in a fund raising fashion show for the Central Kings Breakfast and Lunch program. What did I get myself into, and to top it off Coldbrook and District Lions member Rosanne Kaiser hand picked my outfit for me! I can't wait. Somewhere in there I will be at the Price Chopper in Berwick too!
