CUTTING DOWN A TREE AND RAISING MONEY FOR CHRISTMAS

My day starts out early even on my days off. Sleeping in for me would be 7am! After a good hearty breakfast of Honeycomb, it was off to get the Christmas tree Jen and I had tagged a couple of months back. Once again the pics are backward, but you will get the story. Oh by the way this all happened Saturday.

Here is the finished product, and as you can see it is almost as wide as it is tall!

After we got the tree in the Jeep, it was 4 inches too long, so he came over and cut another piece off.

3 tree and one of them is ours! Here's where we realized...maybe this tree is a little big for our place.

Out to get the tree in the lot, fresh cut!

2 TELETHONS IN ONE DAY, OVER 300KM OF DRIVING

Erin Sullivan from Magic 94.9/CFAB hosted the event. This was her first ever telethon and she was plenty nervous! She did a bang up job and set a record while doing it so way to go Erin!

After the show in Windsor it was in the car to Digby, and they had me on with MP Greg Kerr. Greg is a really nice guy too.

This is me and AVR Morning Show Digby Correspondent Brownen Trask's Sister. She helped out all day and is the biggest AVR fan in the world!

Eastlink TV did a great job of doing these telethons, and kudos to all of their crew! The Windsor Telethon raised $42,800 and Digby $31,332.11!
