Wow, what a day Wednesday! I moved with my girlfriend Jen, Tyler Pipher, Conner McE and Blake Findley into my new house. Oh yeah Jen’s mom was there helping too. I was going to take pictures but it was so fast and busy that I forgot. After moving in, and trust me there’s still lots of work to do, I went to the Wolfville Rec Center for the open auditions of the Mud Creek Days Talent Contest. There were some really good acts there, but Hunter Brule from our sister station Magic 94.9 tried to sing, and that just killed everything.

Hunter, you are a great radio announcer, keep the day job buddy!

Saturday was crazy; I took 4 15 year old boys to Halifax for the Kiss concert. I have seen Kiss before, but this was the first time for them. Before the show we went down to the water front to see the Tall Ships that were in Halifax.

I really like this band from Brazil who were playing live on the wharf. When you are in Halifax on the waterfront, stop in and see my good buddy Edward. He has the Beavertails spot there, and he spends the winter at Ski Martock, where I plan to do a lot of skiing this winter.

The concert was mind boggling, with fireworks, costumes and everything you would expect to see at a rock concert. Even if you don’t enjoy the music, you can really appreciate the theater that goes into this show.

Follow that link to youtube and you can see what I saw at the concert. You can actually see the back of my nephew's head, the guy shooting this was behind him!

Sunday me and my girlfriend Jennifer sat and watched half of season 3 of our favorite TV show, Desperate Housewives. Seriously we are both into it! Season 3 is a lot more comical, but at the same time it has very emotional parts too. Check it out; we borrowed it from the Valley Regional Library. Yes, the let you borrow DVD’s, check them out.

This week you can catch me live on location at Kentville Mazda Tuesday for an AVR Win Sticker Patrol, the Kingston Farm Market in my home community of Kingston for another Win Sticker Patrol, and Thursday I will be at the change of command ceremonies at 14 Wing Greenwood right after the show, I hope to meet George Canyon there! Then at night I will taste Muddy’s Birthday Cake at the Dessert Contest at the Wolfville Lion’s Club. Friday I am in Berwick at Front Street Furniture, and Andrew Foote and I will be handing out AVR Win Stickers, you have to get yours now so you can win now, and all summer long. Friday night I will be hosting the Mud Creek Days Talent show at the Al Whittle Theater. Saturday I am live on remote with Mike Landry at Kentville Mazda from 10-2, then to Dooly’s in Greenwood where I used to be the house DJ for a Breast Cancer Fund Raiser. I may even sneak into the Valley Drive Inn in Cambridge for an AVR Win Sticker patrol and I know the movies will be great, they always are.

As you can see it’s going to be a busy week, and I am trying to fit in a fishing trip all at the same time. What? I have to unwind some how, and I f I catch anything I will post it here for you too see!

I am taking a walking challenge against the morning man from our sister station Magic 94.9, Hunter Brule, and you can bet your bottom dollar that I am going to win, I will walk in my sleep! You are going down Brule! You can get in on this by heading to you local CAP center, at the Library, and ask about the Heart and Stroke Foundation’s walking challenge.
