Never underestimate the fat man! Hunter Brule from our sister station Magic 94.9 challenged me to the Heart and Stroke Foundations Walk About Challenge, who could walk the most in 2 weeks! It was me, so Hunter, who is a hard core Toronto fan, had to wear a Montreal Canadiens Jersey for the day. I thought today would be a good day to visit the new dressing rooms at the Kentville arena, and it just so happens that one of them is painted in the colors of the Canadiens. All joking aside, Kentville Rec did a great with them, Jerry Little painted them. Kevin Bennett who is in charge of the facilities for the Town, and is a hard core Canadiens fan and long time friend of Hunter Brule, was more than happy to show this room in particular off to Hunter.
Before I forget, we met all kinds of people at B and H Wholesalers in Kingston. Some had AVR Win Stickers, others picked theirs up! These are just 2 of the really nice people who came to say hi!
...and yes the ice is in at the Kentville Centennial Arena, hockey schools are on.
