I was very impressed with the market, Colleen (the girl in the hat, or as we call Miss Farm Market 2009) was the one in charge, and she did a great job welcoming us to the Market, and for getting the merchants to come over and say hi with samples for me and Andrew. I have to say hi to all the merchants, especially Beaver Creek Wines, and Wind Mill Farms for the great sausage!
One person who I wanted to meet when we were in Kingston was Madeline! If you have ever listened to the AVR Morning show, I like to check in with Madeline once a week to make sure she is doing fine because she always has something to say, and she lives right across the street from the Farm Market
She is a celebrity among celebrities! I am sure she will give us a tale of doctors again this week on the show.
Andrew must have been naughty there! Someone is about to "smack his bottom"!
He must have made up, either that or her husband Dave Arnburg just wanted to get his face on my blog! Dave is a great guy and he plays in The band Country Grass.
Who says you don't win with your AVR Win Sticker? Ask these people, they all got great prizes or entered the Bay Ferries Treasure Hunter Contest.
Thursday you can join me for Muddley's Birthday party in Wolfville at the Lion's Hall, there will be enough cake for everyone I am sure, and in the afternoon I am going to see George Canyon at 14 Wing Greenwood at the change of command ceremonies. I am sad to see Col Joyce move on, but he will be a big wig someday and I hope he doesn't forget us here in the Valley! I hope to see ya, and if not i will be back on again tomorrow!
Don't forget you can join me in the Heart and Stoke foundation walking challenge, as of Wednesday night I have over 23,000 steps. I am going to win this prize!
