KENTVILLE HARVEST FEST, AIN'T NO LITTLE BIT OF RAIN STOPPIN' THEM!

I woke up at 7:00 and looked out my window to a serious rain. By 8:00 I had sent out a message to the facebook group on the wall saying that the Kentville Harvest Fest was a go rain or shine! When I got there spirits were high, the small amount of vendors that showed up were set and ready for a big day. The rain ended up around noon, but the crowd was small but determined all day. We had fun, got a little wet and got to hear Ed and Sam Coleman play the bagpipes!

Pipers Ed and Sam Coleman came in despite of the rain.

Lloyd and Tony catching up on what new.

Kevin Bennet from Kentville Rec...does he really know what he's doing?

Bounce Kingdom was there with these new big games! Check them out at http://www.bouncekingdom.ca/index.html

Pete Luckett put on a great display on how to use veggies. Everything he used was grown in the maritimes. I am still waiting for an invite to the new winery for a tour of the construction...Pete?

Get set to dance with Dance ConXion (www.danceconxion.com/)

Monday I will have someone who is not a stranger to AVR who did something very nice and I'll give her a shout out after 8, I think you'll be touched by it. More stuff to win with Darius Rucker, you can win his new CD and be listening to it a full week before it goes on sale with the AVR Song of the Day that Pays, and more fun to wake up with!
